Q: What is a suckable?

A: A suckable is a delightful gelatin treat infused with alcohol to create a semi-solid tasty alcoholic treat. They are often compared to similar, lesser creations called Jello™ shots.

Q: How does hiring SMC work?

A: If you are a bar, club or other establishment that is licensed in Washington State to serve hard alcohol, hiring us is simple and legal. Just follow these three simple steps. (In fact you could still hire us if you are just licensed to serve beer and wine, we have a variety of wine based options)

Plan. Decide you want us and let us know! Send us an email, or give us a call and we will start the planning process. We will discuss flavors, quantities, dates and pricing.
Contract time. After we figure out your needs and come to an agreement, it is time for the official hiring. In essence your bar hires SMC as contract workers. We will come to your bar and prepare the suckables. We have our Washington State food handlers card, and our Washington State MAST Class 12 mixologist permit. We are completely legal to work in your bar’s kitchen, using your bar’s alcohol to create the suckables, but will provide our own secret mixes. This way the alcohol has already gone through all proper channels, and taxations. Washington state requires all alcohol to be mixed on premise, which is why we cannot at this time offer a delivery service for our products.

Q: Can I hire you even though I don’t own a bar?

A: The answer is yes, although it is more complicated. In Washington State it is required that all mixed drinks are created on site. With this in mind, we cannot simply drop off pre-made suckables.

Non Bar Event (such as a wedding): If the location of the event has a onsite kitchen in which we may prepare the shots hours before planned consumption, and the event is licensed with the proper banquet permits allowing alcohol to be sold we will gladly work with you. Liquor Control Boards Website. When doing an event with a Banquet License, it is important to note that alcohol cannot be sold for profit. Our fee is for our service and talents in mixing, and not for the alcohol itself. In fact, the host of the event is responsible for purchasing the alcohol.
Private Home Party: Private homes can hire us without any special licensing required, as long as the event is invitation only and nonprofit. Due to Washington laws we need to be able to use the kitchen on site in order to create our suckables, and alcohol must be purchased by those hosting the party. Suckables may not be sold for profit at private events. We will not sell or serve to anyone below the age of 21.

Q: What are your flavors?

A: We have mastered hundreds of different flavors, and are always expanding our menu and trying to create more. Our most common inspiration are popular cocktails that already exist in liquid form. Please check our flavors page for some of our favorites, but please if you don’t see your favorite drink please let us know. Chances are we can make it for you. We even do cream based drinks, and bombs.

Q: Why hire SMC instead of making my own?

A: We have spent the time, money, and a copious amount of liquor to create, tweak and perfect a wide variety of flavors. You have enough to do in order to prepare for your special event, why spend the time trying to figure out how to make a vegan chocolate covered cherry, when we can do it for you.

Q: What are Suckable Servers?

A: Suckable Servers are one of the amazing benefits of hiring Suck My Cocktails. When requested we have beautiful girls attend your event and serve the shots to your guest. Suckable Servers love to play dress up, and when requested we will match any event theme.

Q: Isn’t gelatin made out of animals? How do you do vegan shots?

A: It’s a secret known to only master level gelchemist, but we assure you that no animal product or byproducts are used in the creation of vegan suckables. They do taste slightly different than our standard suckables, but are still tasty, amazing and boozy.

Q: How are you so awesome?
