Hello Suckers! Sorry it has been so long since our last update. Our one year birthday party at the Clipper was a big success! Thank you everybody who came to share our joy and help us celebrate. We honestly didn’t expect so many people, at one point we ran out of food and had to run it the store and get more. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Check out pictures of the occasion on our facebook and our flickr account. A big thank you to photographer Andrew Benson for taking HUNDREDS of pictures! Norwescon is just a month away, and this marks our 3rd year of working with Dethcon. We will be there rocking the 8bit theme with Frogger, Pacman and Princess Peach inspired shots. Omnomnomnom. So come get your nerd drunk on! I’m sure there is a million other things happening and going on right now that I should be telling you guys about…but nothing is coming to mind… Well you know, love and suckables, dancing, drinking, sucking, etc…. <3 Humble Master Gelchemest Dryte
So this January marks one year of us being the exclusive jello shot provider for the China Clipper! WAHOO! It has been quite a fun and eventful year! We have worked with, and met so many wonderful people that we just have to celebrate! So we are throwing a little shindig, and you are invited. That’s right, a little party to commemorate this mementos occasion and thank all of you wonderful suckers out there.

One of our fans in a graphic design student at the Art Institute of Seattle, Taylor Jacobson. Taylor has been a long time fan of Suck My Cocktails, she’s sucked for birthdays, she’s sucked for finals, she’s sucked for karaoke, and she’s sucked for sucks sake. This summer Taylor took a poster design class from Modern Dog, a large graphic design firm in Seattle. To pay tribute to all those late nights and delicious treats, Taylor was awesome enough to make her final poster a Suck My Cocktails poster. Thank you Taylor, we love it! To say thank you, we made sure Taylor got some treats, and her teachers did too for helping mold her creative mind. We here at SMC wish you the best in your career as a designer Taylor! Oh, and they even mention it in a blog, check it!
Wow friends! What an intense couple of days it has been! Lake Fair 2011 is officially over, and we are officially exhausted. Thursday night we had our second photo shoot at the China Clipper Café, with the fantastic Brandi Covington, of Digital Addiction Photography. We got to meet a lot of awesome new people, sling a lot of shots, and take a lot of pictures which we will share with you soon! It is always so much fun to see people having fun with suckables!
Friday we had a last minute appearance with Tush! Burlesque, sorry for the short notice but thank you for everybody who came and supported jigglyness in many forms. The bar at the show was ran by the fabulous Rainy City Roller Dolls, check them out and support Burlesque and Roller Derby!
This weekend was the first chance to pick up our brand new SMC tshirts! Keep an eye out for an online store to appear here shortly, but until then you can go down to the China Clipper and contact us in person about purchasing one. $18, or $20 and we will include a glow in the dark bracelet!
Keep on Suckin’
Well hello there internet stalkers! How are you doing on this lovely (rainy) spring evening? We here at SMC are exhausted, and for good reason. Last night was our first ever Meet Greet and Photoshoot at the China Clipper. Sorry for the lack of advance warning, we ourselves didn’t know we were doing it tell well, we were doing it, but it was fun and successful nonetheless! Brandon Boyd www.bigclickphoto.com joined us at The Clipper and we got some fun shots of you taking fun shots! We will post pictures soon, but let me tell you there are some winners out there! We hope to make this a somewhat regular thing, next time we will let you know plenty of time before hand where and when you can come meet us, let us buy you a shot and suck it for the camera.
We here at SMC are, EXHAUSTED but so THANKFUL for a wonderful weekend of slinging shots and dancing feet. Our second year at Norwescon was very intense and awesome. Thank you for all of you that came and so us at Dethcon’s Heaven and Hell and tipped our beautiful servers and tried our delicious shots. We are happy to announce that we will indeed be returning next year for Dethcon’s 8bit party. This past weekend was so much fun, and so much hard work and I know we have said thank you, but I have a few specific thankyous I would like to give.
Norwescon: For hosting such an entertaining venue and allowing such epic parties to occur.
Hotel/Con Security: For assuring that people did in fact suck and drink responsibly and keeping us all safe.
Dethcon: For inviting us and hosting us at such unique party and allowing us to piggyback on your awesomeness.
Our Suckable Servers: Thank you for working so hard to sling our shots. Erin and I had to do it by ourselves Friday night, and let me tell you how much more thankful that made us towards you, because lordy were we tired when the night was done. One day we will be able to offer you a lot more than measly pay and copious amounts of love and gratitude, but until then know that there are copious amounts of love and gratitude.
All You Suckers: A big shout out to all of those that attended and tried our shots. We wouldn’t be coming to this every year if it wasn’t for you guys. Thank you for attending, drinking, sucking, dancing, and tipping so we can do this again next year.
So we will see you next year April 5-8 at the Double Tree in Seatac. Until then, keep an eye on us to see where else you can suck it down.
Now that we have that out of the way, I would also like to announce that our Bracelets are in fact in! Until we get our online store up and running you can email us at dryte@suckmycocktails with your order. Bracelets are $5 each or 4 for $15. Colors available: white, blue, pink and purple. All bracelets are debossed with “Suck My Cocktails” and glow in the dark. Pictures will be up shortly on our facebook page, and once again our online store will be up in running as soon as we can. Until the online store is up we will not be charging shipping on these bracelets! So I highly recommend ordering them now! And yes, teeshirts will be coming very, very soon!
Greetings fellow gelatin enthusiast!
Spring is in the air (finally) and we here at Gelchemy labs have been inspired by the increase of sunshine, despite how little that increase may be. We are experimenting with a range of floral flavored shots: rose, jasmine, orange blossom, and hibiscus. These flavors are delicate, classy and alcoholic. Awesome.
Other than that Norweson is less than two weeks away! We had a blast last year working with Dethcon, and we know we will this year as well! We will be serving Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at con. Thursday night we will pay tribute to our host and con staff by serving some of their personal favorite flavors: Ragin’ Cajun’s, Brain Hemorrhages and Dreamcicles. Friday and Saturday night are themed “Heaven and Hell” so be prepared for some 1st Degree burns, Angel Kisses, and more! Be on the look out for our sexy servers and make sure to tip them well, these girls work hard to bring you joy and suckables!
Also be sure to ask any of our servers or your master Gelchemist Erin and Dryte personally about buying one of our new GLOW IN THE DARK BRACELETS! They will be premiering at norwescon for only $5 each! Available in blue, pink, white and purple, or why not just get the entire set for only $15! Let the world know what you like to suck, and look good doing it!
See you at con folks!
Master Gelchemist Dryte
Howdy suckable connoisseurs! As always we’ve been keeping busy at gelchemy labs and have been conjuring some delicious, delicious things for you to put in your face. We unveiled our newest treat at Tush! Burlesque’s Deadly Dames show on March 12th. It was a wonderful time filled with comedy, nearly nude women, some nearly nude men and a lot of suckables to go around. What suckable did we unveil you ask? Our newly redesigned vegan shot! We have offered vegan shots in the past, but we have been tweaking and toiling trying to make them better, make them almost distinguishable from a typical suckable (although I think we all know that none of our suckables are actually typical). Not only do our new line of vegan shots taste delicious and are alcoholic…they are actually good for you. Finally, you can justify drinking for your health! These shots have both fiber and prebiotics, so even you carnivores out there may want to try these for yourselves!
Love and Suckables!
Master Gelchemest, Dryte
Greetings friends! We hope you have been well, we have been quite busy here at the SMC Gelchemy Labs. Our Bunsen burners are burning, our flasks are bubbling and with these great tools of science we have been creating a new “Nerd Line” of shots. We do this because, well at the end of the day that’s what we are. We are just humble scientists that happen to enjoy alcohol. Keep watch for our soon to come specialty Comic Book, Video Game and Fantasy related menus. And even if you’ve never held an NES controller in your life, we know you would like to suck our Princess Peach.
Now that you are thinking of Princess Peach, we would love to introduce you to another bunch of fine ladies. Olympia’s own Tush! Burlesque has invited us to come jiggle with them March 12th! This local burlesque troupe features beautiful woman of all shapes and sizes performing comical and sexy acts for your pleasure. March 12th is their Deadly Dames show, a tribute to film noir. We will be there too with our own tribute featuring: Slow Gin Fizzes, Cosmopolitans, Whiskey Sours, Charlie Chaplins, Harvey Wallbangers and Strawberry Lube! There are two shows one at 730pm, and one at 10pm located at the Eagles Hall (corner of 4th and Plum downtown Olympia). Tickets are $15 at the door. We hope to see you there!
Can’t wait tell the 12th and NEED one of our delectable shots? We understand, and we got you. Thanks to your voices the China Clipper Café has decided to allow us to be their exclusive gelatin libation supplier indefinitely. What does this mean to you? This means that anytime you get a craving for something delicious, alcoholic and jiggly you just have to head into the China Clipper, hand the barkeep $1.50 and your dreams will be answered. This week our menu features Boozeberry, Margaritas, Orange Cremsicles, Gin and Juice, and Washington Apples. For menu updates please follow our facebook page.
That’s all I have time for right now, I see something bubbling on the stove so I got to run. Until next time suckers!
Your Humble Master Gelchemist, Dryte
Welcome back, and Happy New Year! We hope you’ve been keeping all your resolutions (except for that one about drinking…we all knew that was silly) and that 2011 is treating you well. We have already had a few great adventures, and are planning more shenanigans for your sucking pleasure.
We would like to thank our friends at Rustycon for inviting us to party with them the second year in a row. The beats were fast, the girls were dancing and the strawberry lube was sliding…down people’s throats. (Oh, we would also like to introduce our Strawberry Lube suckable, it taste just like it sounds. It’s awesome, and the girls seem to love it.) Our strawberry lube shot is an example of a non-traditional cocktail suckable created by ideas thrown out there by our fans. Keep them coming, we love the challenge and the science! And the sucking, mostly the sucking.
Two weeks ago, we were very fortunate to get the opportunity to share our suckables through a local bar in Olympia, The China Clipper. We apologize for those of you that missed our Washington Apples, they sold out in two nights… two weeknights… in the snow… thank you. Chances are that this was only our first of many co-adventures with this karaoke bar (7 nights a week, to sing and dance). We would like to thank Olympia for sucking us down with such vigor and enthusiasm. We love you too.
Other than that, keep your eyes peeled on updates for some grand scale parties of the suckable kind. Seattle, we’re coming for you!
Love and Suckables,
Erin & Dryte, your humble master gelchemist
